Terms & Conditions – Hanselewirt Guesthouse

1. Scope of Application

These Terms & Conditions apply to all accommodation bookings made directly with Hanselewirt (website, email, phone) unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Booking & Payment

  • All prepaid bookings require 100% advance payment at the time of booking.

  • All Flex Price Bookings must pay a 50% deposit with balance to be paid no later than 14 days before arrival. For short-notice bookings (within 14 days of arrival), payment is only possible by credit card or PayPal, with an additional charge for PayPal payments.

  • Tourist tax (Kurtaxe) is not included and must be paid on arrival according to local regulations.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • 100% Cancellation Fee or No-Show Fee on prepaid bookings

  • Free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival on flex price bookings.

  • 50% charge for cancellations 7–13 days before arrival on flex price bookings.

  • 100% charge for cancellations within 7 days of arrival or in case of no-show on flex price bookings.

4. Check-in & Check-out

  • Check-in: from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm

  • Check-out: by 11:00 am at the latest

Late arrival after 6:00 pm is only possible by prior arrangement and confirmation and will be handled via key safe.

Early check-in is only available if explicitly stated in the booked offer.

5. Breakfast

  • Breakfast is served daily from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.

  • Breakfast is not available on the day of arrival, including early arrival days.

6. Packages & Special Offers

  • Packages must be fully prepaid 14 days before arrival unless stated otherwise.

  • Package components (e.g. tickets, vouchers, third-party services) are subject to availability and supplier conditions.

  • Changes or partial cancellations of packages are not possible once booked.

7. Guest Responsibilities

  • Guests are liable for damages caused intentionally or negligently during their stay.

  • The accommodation must be used with care and consideration for other guests and residents.

8. Pets

Pets are not allowed in the hotel at any time. In the event of arrival with a pet, check-in will be denied, and the full booking amount will be non-refundable.

9. Liability

Hanselewirt is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings unless caused by gross negligence or intent. Liability for external services or third-party providers is excluded.

10. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

German law applies. Place of jurisdiction is the registered business location of Hanselewirt, where legally permissible.
